The food was quite standard. There were 19 person of us. Some of us want to sit outside but the owner told us to go inside not in a good manner.

Great food especially cincang

Good taste of Bukittinggi traditional cuisine. Need to try the special menu "Gulai Itiak", that is the steam duck covered with sambal.

Nice food and scenery

The "itiak lado mudo" is highly recommended. Very tasty! Hot and spicy in a good way! It is different compare any other spicy food where you can only taste the spiciness and feel it burns your tongue.I had cincang (pronounced: chin chang/ chan chang) curry also which was marvelous beef curry to pair with the duck or chicken.I recommend to get itiak lado mudo and cancang.But, what i DO NOT RECOMMEND is to get there after lunch hour, especially if you are not from this area.In other words, GET THERE EARLY!!! Otherwise you'll get there empty handed.

Vastly overrated. Or maybe I came with high expectations. Next time should try other Itiak Lado Mudo in the area.

They only serve spicy and "gulai"/curry duck, so be prepared if you bring kids that don't eat spicy food.

Itiak Lado Mudo is a deep boiled duck served with the green chili paste. It is one of the most famous dish in Bukittinggi. And this place has the best one (according to me). But the rice is not too good for me. It is too hard. It must be softer then it could be a great complementary for Itiak lado mudo.

This is a one place that you must visit when you are traveling to Bukittinggi. If you're a fan of Indonesian traditional foods especially duck, you can try the special menu on this restaurant. Fried duck with green spicy chillies. Very recommended, but still remember with your uric acid and cholesterol. Come early before lunch time! before everything you want is gone 😂

Good food but more details for service customers

The food taste is good.. I was ordering chicken menu and I love it. 5/5 for the taste.. the restaurant is quite small so if you'll plan to visit with family better be prepare to booked first.Beside lado mudo they also have "cincang sapi" which also taste good. But I dunno, they just serve 1 portion of cincang sapi for each table.The takeaway lado mudo is frozen and it's wrapped. I was bringing it on cabin bagage and no spill at all (about 12 hour outside freeze and it still taste the same).But the service sorry to say, the waitress has no smile at all. Even when I'm asking for take away, she still focusing on something else. They also receive card payment so don't worry if you don't bring along cash. But the price is cheap, approx 50K to 70K per person (depend on how many duck / chicken you ordered). The take away is paid per package (whole duck 150K / chicken 120K).

A must visited place for culinary if you are in West Sumatra. Evernote to those who fond of a super-spicy food. You'll be wants more and more to eat the green chillies curried duck.The place is not hard to find even tho it's a bit out from the main road.

Not many choices of food...only good if you want to taste the Itiak Lado Mudo dish. Be warned, it's spicy 😋

The itiak is so delicious. If you come right on lunch hour,. You might be have to wait the rice cooked. Sometimes the rice is sold out. For the bill, you have to be very careful. I went there last week and have just find out that we pay 40 thousand rupiahs more expensive than we had order 😑

Delicious food. It's different from common local food which use coconut santan. But the room is small for big group and impact inconvenient for guests.

Best itik lado mudo in town.

We ate lunch here at 03.00 pm. It was a late lunch. They were still ready. The green chile sauces duck was yummy. It came with warm rice.
